Accessibility statement
This is an ongoing accessibility statement for our website and apps.
Website
We are continuously working to ensure that the website meets the legal requirements of the specified deadline of 23 September 2020. We have tested the website by using external expertise based on the WCAG standard for accessibility and the checklist available on webbriktlinjer.se
Shortcomings
At this time, we are aware that we have not been able to meet all the criteria of the WCAG (Accessibility Standard) in the following parts of the website:
- There are PDFs on the website that are not accessible. We solve this by allowing you as a visitor to get the same information in several other ways.
- Not all images on the site have alt texts. We're working to fix that.
- Some of our forms and linked e-services do not fully comply with the accessibility principles. We are working to improve them during the updates together with the suppliers.
- Some embedded features of the website do not comply with the Accessibility Principles.
Apps
We work to ensure that our apps Tabussen.nu and Ultra-Umeå's public transport meet the legal requirements of WCAG (standard for accessibility). In 2021, we will procure a new platform for our apps in accordance with the Web Directive. This section describes the shortcomings in the accessibility of the apps and how we plan to fix them.
The platform for the apps has beentested through a self-assessment made by Infospread Euro AB. The app has been reviewed based on the international guidelines for accessibility, WCAG 2.1 level AA. The review has been carried out through a combination of manual evaluation and automatic evaluation using various tools to measure accessibility. The latest assessment was made on 2021-06-02.
Shortcomings
Our apps Tabussen.nu and Ultra-Umeå's public transport partly comply with the law on accessibility to digital public services. At this time, we are aware that we have not been able to meet all the criteria of the WCAG (Accessibility Standard) for the following parts of the apps:
- The app can currently only be used in a vertical position.
- Parts of the app are not fully functional with assistive technology for visual impairments, such as screen readers or tools for zooming and enlarged text.
- Some features of the app require complex finger movements, such as swiping.
Disproportionate burden
We invoke the exception for unreasonably burdensome adaptation under Section 12 of the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services for the following content:
- Timetables for our services
You can always get the information you request in terms of information about how our traffic is run by contacting us directly by phone to our Customer Service 0771-110 100
Content not covered by the law
The content described here is not fully accessible, but is exempt under Section 9 of the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services.
- Map Features
The app's map functions are not used for navigation, and the corresponding information contained in the map can also be found in other formats in other parts of the app.
